Bloggers United Bazaar

Last Friday, May 27, 2011, all stylish roads led to Malayan Plaza Hotel as Manila’s fashion and beauty bloggers sold their shoes, accessories as well as their pre-loved and never-been-worn clothes at the first ever bloggers bazaar, aptly titled Bloggers United: An Interactive Shopping Affair.

I shared a booth with the lovely Patricia Prieto.

The day before the bazaar, Patricia and I talked on Facebook about our booth’s decorations. We didn’t know what to bring exactly so we came to an agreement to just bring artsy fartsy stuff. Haha!

We both brought some fabric scraps! I also made our little posters to let the people know that it’s our booth, while Patricia brought the accessories holder.

Here’s my side of the booth. I brought my own clothes rack and dress form. The clothes rack was pretty complicated to assemble. Good thing my cousin was there to help me out!

Thanks to those who came and supported the event! To those who particularly dropped by our booth and who bought clothes and accessories from me, I’m very grateful to you all (90% of my items were sold!). It really was nice meeting some of my readers/followers. Kilig. <3

Our neighboring booth - David Guison and Bjorn Bedayo! There’s never a dull moment with these two.

With beautiful fashion bloggers Karl Leuterio, Patricia Prieto, Kookie Buhan and Lissa Kahayon

Second floor of the bazaar. More bloggers and more clothes!

Glad to see Tricia Gosingtian after long time! We talked about her recent trip to Malaysia and her meeting with Tongue in Chic’s Senior Contest Associate, Karen Wong. Karen is my new boss; she followed in the footsteps of my then bosses, Joyce Wong and Suanne Chong. I haven’t been writing articles for TiC due to my hectic schedule, but I’ll get back to writing pretty soon.

With my friend Lorenz Namalata and new-found friend and blogger, Cheyser Pedregosa! Lyka Orhel and Patty Mendoza were there, too! I also met their friend, Nikki Ruiz.

Walkie Talkies performed. They’re soooo great! Raleene Cabrera, the awesome half of Walkie Talkies is also a blogger and an interior designer! Talk about being multi-talented.

The stylish Laureen Uy and Camille Co

I loved Sophie’s Mom’s Mochi Ice Cream!

Thanks to the sponsors for these amazing freebies!

And here’s what I wore:

(Jumpsuit from Bangkok, H&M cardigan, Jeffrey Campbell platforms, accessories from Aldo, Forever 21, Saint Rebel Street, SM, Bangkok, and Hong Kong)

Congratulations to my blogger friends Ana Gonzales, Melai Entuna and Aisa Ipac for pulling off a successful event. Their hard work really paid off. I really hope there’s a part two of the bazaar. I had a remarkable time with my fellow bloggers!

Thanks to Karl, David and Paul for the additional photos.
