Of Fashion, Instagram and UPCAT

It’s been a while since I posted an illustration. I took this via Instagram (@tiniglesias). My Fashion Merchandising professor required us to create a fashion sketch of our mock product line. Speaking of school, this year’s UPCAT (University of the Philippines College Admission Test) results are already out!

As I’ve mentioned on Twitter, congratulations to those who passed the UPCAT!!! Hello sa mga bagong Iskolar ng Bayan! Passing the exam is one of the easy parts of being a UP student. As people say, “Passing the UPCAT is one thing, surviving in UP is another.” It’s going to be really tough, but I’m sure you will have a lot of fun as well. Please continue uplifting the pride of the Philippines! :)

If you didn’t pass the UPCAT, or didn’t get your first choice, then it’s not the end of the world. There are other ways you can enter UP if you’re really craving to be an Isko or Iska. I didn’t get my first choice (I’m actually a transferee student from UST Fine Arts), but I was really determined to shift courses and study in UP Diliman. Look where I am now! ;) Trust me when I say that everything will work out in the end.
