I can’t believe that sem break has flown by so quickly and that Philippine Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011 is over. I certainly had one hell of an experience with Lee! Working for the retail brand as a student-designer/stylist has been such a wonderful learning experience; it has taught me the magnitude of teamwork, deadlines, multi-tasking and putting forth your best effort, no matter how small or large the task. Keeping the creative zeal and vision, the sheer amount of time, effort, money and emotion was unbelievable. Sure, it had its demanding days, but I never took for granted a single day. I have learned scores about the industry, from accessories sourcing to seeing concepts and ideas grow from mood boards to actual pieces. I was fortunate enough to meet and work with new and interesting people. The people at Lee never cease to amaze me, as they are always willing to help out, but once given an opportunity, it’s up to us, the students, to follow through and turn our dreams into realities. I am beyond grateful for the whole thing!
A lot has happened and, as expected, I’ve caught most of them on camera.
