Malaysia Truly Asia
My trip to Malaysia last December 16-19, 2011 was one of the most unforgettable trips I have ever had. The itinerary was relatively jam-packed but it was made with pure fun in mind. We made good use of the time! I just wanted to share some of the wonderful sights I’ve seen, so here’s my little photo diary. :) The most important meal in anyone’s day is breakfast. I really enjoyed...

Bukit Bintang Shopping
This is what I wore on our third day (a.k.a. shopping day) in Kuala Lumpur. We went to Pavilion, Sungei Wang Plaza, Starhill Gallery and Fahrenheit 88. I personally think that the Bukit Bintang area is the best place to stay in because the malls are within walking distance from each other. You’ll find most of what you need, suiting every budget, from high-end stores to specialty outlets! ...

Flashing Lights
We only had an hour or less to recharge from the day tour, then off we went to Pavilion for dinner. After having dinner at Food Republic, we spent our second night at Kuala Lumpur’s latest hot spot, The View Rooftop Bar at G Tower. I wasn’t really in the mood for drinking and dancing because I was not feeling well.  I was feeling quite dizzy and disoriented because I hadn’t...

Ditsy Leaves
On our second day in Kuala Lumpur, Nuffnang took us on a tour to discover the best of the best Malaysia has to offer. Bloggers were advised to dress comfortably for walking. I knew we’d be moving around a lot so I wore a lightweight turquoise romper that features a V-neckline and an open back with strappy details. Tracy and I woke up a tad bit early to take nice outdoor shots. After the...

NAPBAS 2011 in Malaysia
Back in 2007, Nuffnang recognized the need to help bloggers meet other bloggers, to find talented bloggers, promote them to the world, and create opportunities for them. Four years on, the blog advertising network changed the blogosphere in a really good way. Bloggers today are budding as a vital force in trends, in changing public opinions with the power of their readers or followers, as...

Embellished
I almost forgot I had this beautiful dress from H&M’s Holiday collection a few years ago, until I fixed my closet. My dad gave it to me as a gift. I knew I had to wear it to the prestigious NAPBAS 2011 (Nuffnang Asia-Pacific Blog Awards) in Malaysia last December 16. Trixie (Nuffnang Philippines’ Talents Manager) invited me a couple of months ago but she told me to keep it a secret...

Viva Versace
I was dying to wear my first Versace for H&M piece so I decided to wear it yesterday. I had a short meeting with a certain company, I went shopping in Greenbelt, and attended the Azkals Christmas Party/Anton Del Rosario’s Birthday Party at Robot. :) H&M necklace, blazer and tank top I thought the party would be the perfect place and time to debut my new leopard print...

I'm As Free As My Hair
I got the album title from Lady Gaga’s song called Hair. Obviously, this post is going to be about my crowning glory. Haha! As I’ve mentioned in my Bloggers United 2 post, Multiply gave each blogger a shopping voucher. I’m pretty much low maintenance when it comes to my hair (see my outfit photos for evidence), so I decided to shop for hair and beauty products to revamp my look,...

Sweet Disposition
Hello! I just came back from my Malaysia trip, sponsored by Nuffnang. :) As soon as I came home, I worked my way through a huge backlog of photos! These images were taken before I went abroad, between December 9-December 15. Most of these were taken in and around the UP Diliman campus. It was quite challenging for my blockmates and I because we were given a very limited time to create 3 dresses...

Charles & Keith
I visit Charles & Keith at Eastwood Mall once in a while, just to see the latest styles. If you aren’t familiar with the brand, Charles & Keith is a Singapore-based brand known for women’s footwear, bags, and accessories. They provide a variety of different styles so no woman goes unrepresented. I constantly check their store because of the refreshing design concept. The...

No Heels for Now
High heels are forgiving of every figure, no matter what one’s size or shape is. They always make me feel good about myself! I have no problem walking on high heels; actually, I fall more often when I’m wearing flats. Hahaha! But recently, my legs easily become sore and my feet hurt from wearing sky-high shoes. So I realized that it’s important to take little breaks from time to time ...

Art and Sole
A few weeks ago, Keds Philippines sent me a pair of white Champion canvas sneakers. The most well-known of the Keds sneakers, the Champion is a true minimalist shoe offered in oxford and slip-on styles. Attached to the package was an invitation to The Original Sneaker Exhibit, which was held last December 5. I wasn’t able to attend because I had to finish a huge amount of work. :( But...

Bloggers United 2
Last December 3, I got to participate in the second installment of the Bloggers United bazaar at Treston International College, thanks to Ana, Melai and Pax! I’m so grateful I was able to be a part of the interactive shopping phenomenon. I had a lot of fun chatting with my fellow bloggers and my readers! Check out what I wore and read my short appreciation message in my previous entry. ...

Refined Grunge
This is what I wore to the second installment of Bloggers United bazaar last Saturday, December 3, at Treston International College. I knew I’d be moving a lot, so I wore a lightweight, sheer stretch-knit asymmetrical dress. Dark colors attract the sun’s rays and heat your body up, but I just can’t help avoid my fixation. My personal style is kind of sophisticated edgy, I guess....

Bench: Lifestyle and Clothing
When you think of a local retailer that offers a wide array of clothing and lifestyle products, top of mind would be Bench. I visited their branch at Eastwood Mall a few days ago and I saw a lot of hip and useful items! :) I love that Bench Fix Salon — one of my go-to salons — is conveniently located inside the Bench store, at the second level of Eastwood Mall. Pampering is just a...

December Styling Stints
Grab a copy of Meg Magazine’s December 2011-January 2012 issue with Angel Locsin on the cover! :) For the contributors page, they asked me a few questions: What did you do for this issue? I styled the Fashion Week section, featuring a snakeskin top. It was quite challenging because I had to style the top in several ways, from casual to dressy. Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun doing it...

Privado Sale at SMDC
I love buying things on sale. I always look for the best sales available and spend as little as possible. So when SM Accessories invited me to Privado, their biggest sale of branded eyewear, watches, and jewelries, I knew I had to say yes!!! :) I got to experience the first day of the sale at one of the country’s biggest, chicest, and grandest showrooms -  the SM Development...

Primadonna Girls Night Out
Last November 24, I attended Primadonna’s Girls Night Out event at Makati Shangri-La Rizal Ballroom not only as a blogger, but as a stylist too! :) The owner of the popular shoe retail brand chose 12 fashion bloggers to style for their fashion show. Backstage with the bloggers and models I was assigned to work with bloggers who share the same fondness for edgy clothes. Meet my...
